Virtual machines (VMs) are software abstractions that allows running multiple operating systems on a single host machine simultaneously, as if its on a physical hardware.
For the following main sections to come, VirtualBox will mainly be utilized for simulation of various networking environments, and to also run various types of Linux and Windows operating systems.
In the following sub-sections of this main section, I will be discussing about the different networking modes for the virtual network adapter provided by VirtualBox for the various VMs, along with what they can be used for.
